The client is looking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Dentist who is able to provide the high-quality dental treatments from general preventative care to cosmetic and implant dentistry. Proficiency in all areas of general dentistry is ideal, including fillings, crown and bridge.
The primary purpose of the Dentist position is to address the growing demand for dental services in the region.
This role entails delivering high-quality dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of various dental procedures. The addition of skilled dentists is crucial to maintain the clinic's commitment to excellence in patient care, expand its range of services, and ensure timely and effective treatment for its increasing patient base.
Minimum Requirements:
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in dental surgery or equivalent
• Registration: Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Dental Council and APHRA.
• Clinical Competence: Proficiency in a wide range of dental treatments and procedures
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and other restorative techniques.
• Advise and perform preventive dental procedures including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Evaluate patient dental health, diagnose dental conditions, develop and discuss treatment plans.
• Provide comprehensive oral care including preventive, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, orthodontic, and surgical procedures.
• Conduct oral examinations, interpret dental radiographs, and diagnose dental conditions.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and handle patient communication effectively.
• Provide emergency treatment for dental injuries and infections.
• Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases and provide referrals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and services provided.
• Manage patient care, including treatment planning, pain control, and anxiety management and Develop patient care goals.
• Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies through continuous education.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
The successful Experienced Dentist applicant must possess the following.
• Prior clinical experience is essential, preferably at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in general dentistry.
• Confidence with all aspects of general dentistry.
• Experience in specialised dental procedures is advantageous.
• Excellent infection control knowledge & practices
• Ability to provide and deliver long term comprehensive treatment plans to patients.
• Exceptional clinical ability.
• Passion about delivering the highest standards of patient care
