Inventory Manager
Manage the efficient sourcing, ordering and distribution of parts to help ensure Workshop Operations can prepare, maintain and operate our Fleet for customers.
The Role
This position reports to the Procurement Manager and overseas the management of the inventory control across 12 depots. The successful applicant will be based at the Dandenong depot. This position will involve frequent travel to all the Ventura depots around Melbourne.
Main responsibilities include:
Assist workshop staff in preparing, maintain and operate Fleet in accordance with the Bus Safety Act through efficient sourcing, ordering and distribution of parts.
Maintaining warehouse housekeeping, including stock levels and locations
Submit KPI monthly reporting, add extra KPI?s to control losses and leakages
Manage staff and apprentices.
Train new staff members on all aspects of TIMS (computer system) and stock management
