Data Migration Lead needed within the FMCG industry for an 18-month fixed term contract
Your new organisation:
We are currently partnering with an FMCG organisation who are seeking a data migration lead to help design and implement the movement of data from legacy systems into the cloud.

Your new role:
Developing a large-scale data migration strategy including resources, timelines and milestones
Leading all aspects of the data migration from mapping and assessment through to implementation
Managing a team of data engineers and migration specialists
Ensure data quality and availability is maintained throughout the process
Documenting and ensuring data governance is maintained throughout and after the transformation.
Liaising with senior stakeholders
Setting clear KPIs and performance metrics for the team
Bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed:
Minimum 5 years' experience leading data migration projects, including solution design and implementation
Strong understanding of end-to-end data migration processes, best practices and tools
Project leadership and management skills are essential
In-depth ETL understanding and expertise, with related tools
Data Analysis skills - both technically and non-technically for dealing with stakeholders
Expertise in leadership, team work, and stakeholder management
Desired, but not essential:
Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations
FMCG industry experience
