We are seeking an experienced butcher with expertise in smallgoods making to join our team at a halal-certified butchery in Huntingdale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in halal meat preparation, knowledge of smallgoods production, and a commitment to high-quality standards. Opportunity to make smallgoods. Full Time position available. 5 days per week with occasional Saturdays.

Detailed Tasks:
preparing meat for sale by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size for display or as ordered
preparing crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts
selecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoods
operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat
making seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients
operating sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats
advising customers on the suitability and uses of cuts of meat
ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of products.
Requirements:
Must be living in Australia with an easy access to Huntingdale Perth WA.
Atleast 2 years experience as a butcher, particularly in smallgoods making.
Knowledge of Halal meat processing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills
Fit and healthy
Excellent customer service skills
