As the Category Insights Specialist, build understanding of customer behaviour and needs across Endeavour Group (particularly Merchandising/Buying) through the analysis of data, identification of actionable insights and development of strategy that delivers improved customer experiences and sustainable category growth.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Ensure the customer is at the centre of decision making within Endeavour Group through the provision of compelling data-led insights.
- Collaborate with senior leaders in merchandise and marketing to address customer challenges and stay ahead in the evolving Liquor retail landscape and co-develop category strategy.
- Provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders on optimising customer experience and driving innovation within the Liquor category across range, experience, innovation and other category based initiatives.
- Use data to explain business performance, identify challenges and opportunities and provide recommendations to drive growth.
- Contribute to Monthly and Quarterly Reporting.
- Work with teams outside of Merchandising (e.g. Format Development, EDX, Customer Insights, BWS and Dan Murphy’s, etc) to deliver insights that inform business processes and deliver consistency of insight across the business. (e.g. retail brand reporting, new store insights, trade planning, etc.)
- Understand the impact of macro trends on customer behaviour and predict customer trends in drinks.
- Foster a culture of continual improvement within a high performance team.
