AVABTI PTY LTD (MISS VIET) , one of Melbourne’s most respected dining institutions, is looking for experienced CHEF to work at Cheltenham restaurant or next branch in CBD
plans and organises the preparation and cooking of food in a dining or catering establishment - preparing and cooking food - planning menus, estimating food and Labour costs, and ordering food supplies - monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• - discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff - demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures - explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations - may select and train staff - may freeze and preserve foods
Qualifications & experience
• - At least 3 years of highly related experience - Diploma of Hospitality Management - At least Certificate 3 in commercial cookery - Certificate in Patisserie - English proficiency - flexibility necessary to workdays, nights, and weekends
