Overview
Our large Government client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead (Systems Administrator, level 4) to provide senior system and administrative support and guidance of the PROTECTED and SECRET engineering team.
You will be required to sustain the VDC Protected and Secret environment, which includes both Linux and Windows environment. The role will work closely with ADF, broader Defence geospatial users, other Commonwealth Government Departments and the wider Australian Intelligence Community and other stakeholders to ensure effective sharing of information and collaboration.
Other Skills and Knowledge
Previous experience in automating IT infrastructure and/or Security tasks is essential.
Major Responsibilities
Review and prioritise the needs for automating procedures, activities or tasks
Design, develop, test, launch and manage systems based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems
Build and maintain code deployment pipelines and code
