About the Team
This role will work alongside seven other Production Engineers and will form part of our greater Operations Planning and Control department which also includes Production Planners and PMOs. The role will be based full time at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCEOE) in Redbank.
About the Role
As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for defining and documenting the production processes and associated activities to build military vehicles, once materials are delivered to the production floor.
The Production Engineer will collaborate with onsite and international production teams to determine and implement the most efficient production / assembly outcomes, based around Lean principals.
As Production Engineer, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
Developing, documenting and maintaining Manufacturing Work Instructions (SOPs);
Working collaboratively with the Production team to determine the most efficient assembly
