We are looking for an experienced reliable, hardworking, and friendly Motel Manager to manage our Motel in Taree, 2430 NSW area. The role accountabilities are designed to realize the vision of becoming a world-class destination, maximize profitability and growth, and result in outstanding guest satisfaction. Benefits : Salary packaging Task & Responsibilities Reporting to our General Manager, the Motel Manager is responsible for overseeing the motel operation with particular emphasis on enhancing the guest experience through supervision and support to all team members and monitoring motel security. The Motel Manager will be dedicated to consistently delivering a high standard of customer service, and leadership and have sound knowledge of the motel's products and services. The position requires fulfilling the following duties but not limited: Duties and Responsibilities: Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model for the resort. Lead kitchen, housekeeping, and reception staff members to perform their best and to provide excellent customer service. Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations, etc. Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, agencies, event/function planners, etc. Observe liquor, arcade games, and other laws and regulations. Manage bookings, room rates, and revenue control. Develop marketing strategies and social media account management. Manage the online image of the business and the room rates. Manage overall financial aspect of the business, including sales and expenses management, dealing with Accountants and other financial agencies as required. Plan, monitor, and execute company budgetary plans and expenses. Oversee purchasing and analyze & interpret financial information to ensure the business is profitable. Monitor sales results and profit margins to ensure the company meets monthly and yearly targets. Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote services. Maintain statistical and financial records and create reports to show to the Director. Provide necessary training and performance feedback for all employees. Supervise work at all levels overseeing receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, and office employees, and set clear objectives for each department. Communicate with customers when appropriate, welcome them to the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, and offer information. Plan and execute recruitment processes for staff of all levels and departments. Qualification & Experience Diploma or higher level qualification in Hospitality, Management, or similar field. At least 2 years of full-time work experience in Hospitality. Excellent customer service & communication skills. Knowledge of reservations software & MS Office. Proficient numeracy and literacy.
