Council is recruiting to fill multiple Multi-Skilled Plant Operator & Labourer vacancies in our regional locations (Roma, Yuleba, Surat and Mitchell).
Road Construction / Maintenance
To construct and/or maintain Council?s road network and other assets to required service level standards through the provision of skilled plant operations, including but not limited to:
Undertake daily servicing and maintenance for plant, equipment and machinery to ensure optimal capacity and efficiency levels and to avoid unscheduled operational downtime.
Maintain Road construction/maintenance documentation and plant records as per Council?s Integrated Maranoa Management System (IMMS) and plant management policies and procedures.
Provide skilled plant operation to assist with maintenance requirements such as repairs, renewals and upgrades.
Operate a variety of handheld tools and machinery as required.
Conduct kerb and channel works.
