About the organisation
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) leads the planning, delivery and oversight of Victorias ambitious public health, mental health and aged care infrastructure agenda. With a $15b health infrastructure pipeline project underway, VHBAs work includes planning and building new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. Under the umbrella of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), the VHBA also administers the replacement and upgrade of engineering infrastructure and medical equipment, alongside the asset management of existing health facilities, working in partnership with local and federal government, health services, industry and the Victorian community to ensure Victorias health system meets the current and future needs of all Victorians.
