About the Position Due to continuous growth and internal movements in our business, an opportunity has arisen to join our team based at the Jellinbah mine site.
We are actively seeking a multi-skilled Shotfirer / MPU Operator to work a 7/7 day shift only roster (12hr days) ? with camp provided!
Core accountabilities include: - Safe and efficient surface shotfiring operations
- Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs)
- Carry out pre-starts
- Regularly carry out workplace Take 5?s
- Conduct bulk product quality tests as required
- Attend toolbox discussions
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment
About you ? Experience in operating MPU?s in an open cut environment
? Experience in shotfiring operations in an open cut environment
? Experience using both Non-Electric and Electronic Blasting Systems (desirable)
? Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry
