Position Overview: Our client, a market leader in the building supplies industry, is seeking a dedicated Receiving Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing the coordination of incoming goods, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of work orders. Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Load and unload orders using forklifts or cranes. Coordinate and tag incoming steel stock.
System Administration: Process invoices, oversee job cards and purchase orders.
Customer Service: Manage correspondence and handle customer inquiries and requests professionally.
Additional Tasks: Support project work and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role; steel industry background is preferred but not essential
Valid forklift licence required
Proficiency in computer applications.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
