eBev.com Pty Ltd Role Overview: As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounts receivable functions. You will implement effective credit policies, and ensure that our accounts receivable processes are efficient, accurate, and in line with the company’s objectives. Your expertise will help streamline operations, reduce outstanding balances, and enhance our financial stability. Key Responsibilities: Leadership of the Function : recruit and create the team to succeed as the business grows Strategy : Create strategy around ensuring AR is at a minimum balance Accountability : Take ownership of the function from accurate timely reporting to DSO Manage and Oversee: Lead the accounts receivable department, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts. Monitor Debtors: Oversee a large portfolio of monthly debtors, ensuring timely collection of payments and managing outstanding balances. Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Credit Management: Evaluate credit risk, set credit limits, and enforce credit policies to minimize financial exposure. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, collections, and aging analysis to senior management. Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing payment issues, and resolving disputes promptly. Compliance: Ensure all accounts receivable activities are compliant with financial regulations and company policies. Credit Policy: Create and manage the company policy around customer credit Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable management Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Xero is highly desirable. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
