Our client is a Defence and Engineering enterprise business on the search for a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco technologies to work with the Navy in Australia. This role will be involved with a network rollout project across the Navy designed to improve network connectivity across the Navy.
Due to the nature of the industry and the sensitivity of information involved in this role, it is essential that you hold an active NV1 security clearance in this role.
Essential experience:
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA)
Experience working as a Network Engineer doing switching, routing, transmission and troubleshooting of networks
Possess a basic understanding of Layer-3 packet encryption, load balancing, network aggregation and network security
