KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd are currently seeking experienced Painting Trade Workers for various projects in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia and Queensland.
Salary range: $73,500 - $86,000 per annum.
Job Description
Attend pre-start meeting before commencement of work to discuss scheduled tasks, safety and/or work related issues.
Perform daily duties as instructed by leading hand / foreman in a suitable manner.
Blast the surface of steel structures, pipelines, boilers, columns, I-beams, trusses and other related areas prior to commencing paint work.
Protect plant and equipment prior to painting.
Mix, match and blend paints to achieve desired colour, according to specification.
Apply paint to buildings, pipes and structures using rollers, brushes, airless and conventional spray methods.
Material handling to the work front and storage of completed items.
Removal of waste at the end of shift and maintain good housekeeping at all times.
Ensure all scheduled work is completed safely and at a high level of quality.
Report any safety or work related incidents immediately to Supervision.
Other duties as directed provided that such duties are within the training and ability.
Requirements:
Trade background (desirable)
Minimum of five years previous estimating and quoting experience in
Great time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong communication and client relationship building skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
