Polyurea WA is an innovative, self-driven Specialist Coating Service based in Naval Base Western Australia. Our services include expert application of Painting and Protective Coatings to a range of industries throughout Australia and Internationally.
We are seeking highly qualified Painting Trades Person to join our team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis
The role includes but is not limited to:
Understand surface preparation and finishes.
Proper handling of all vehicles giving it due care and detailed attention
Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage
Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessary
Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
Cleaning equipment and work areas.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)
High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift
Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)
HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift
Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Strong communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
Must have great work ethics
