Job description – Full Time Sous Chef – 320 Crown Street, Surry Hills
The Venue
Rosie Campbells is located in the heart of Surry hills, seconds away from oxford street. We have a heavy focus on live music, with 3 live nights a week in our intimate space of 75 seats.
We are looking to expand our team to create a quality, hardworking team in our busy restaurant/bar. Our quality of drinks and service is a focal point of our brand & we have high expectations even with high volume.

The Role
As Sous Chef you will be working along side the Head Chef to manage a team and train other kitchen team members. We have a big emphasis on team development and delivering a high quality product.
The ideal candidate will have
• 4 years kitchen experience
• A passion for good food, flavours and ingredients
• Positive attitude
Duties:
• Assist the head chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow during service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Oversee inventory, stock levels, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them improve their skills and performance.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with the head chef on creating new recipes and seasonal menus.
• Manage food costs and reduce waste by optimizing ingredient usage.
