The Role
Due to steady growth in our civil engineering division, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator for a newly created role based in our Sydney office.
The Senior Estimator would be responsible for preparing cost estimates and tenders for civil projects in Australia.
This involves leading a competitive estimation and tender process for civil construction projects (ie Road and Bridge Construction, Bridge launching, Tanks and Silo Construction, Dam upgrades, specialist building and complex structures ) to achieve critical business objectives including strategic growth & development, turnover and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with Project Managers, Construction Managers and Engineers to develop construction methodologies and non-price submission information.
Develop detailed cost estimates for various civil construction projects, compile accurate tenders within deadlines, and present for management review.
Develop draft construction programs in consultation with in house P6 Planner;
