Job Overview
We are looking for an active and efficient Cafe Manager to join us. Your role primarily consists of maintaining and managing the cafe operations.
To be successful in this role of Cafe Manager, you are expected to have exceptional knowledge about cafe management and operations. You will be required to work in shifts and even, on weekends and holidays. You will be responsible for managing the inventory for the cafe when required.
You will also be training employees on how to deal with customers and provide customer satisfaction. We expect you to provide strategic plans to increase the profitability of the cafe.

Responsibilities
• Maintain working schedules on a day to day basis
• Recruit junior staff and train them according to the company policies
• Brief employees about rules of the cafe
• Ensure that the machines such as coffee machine or other machine are working fine
• Make sure the cleaning is done before the daily operations start
• Keep a record of monthly expenses and revenues
• Following and Implementing the occupational health and safety regulations , Maintain healthand safety procedures of the workplace, Undertaking budget, reviewing profit and loss andfinancial transactions. and Hiring, training, supervising, promoting or firing staff as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the stock of raw materials
• Maintain healthy relationship with customers
• Coordinate with the staff according to different shifts and confirm the availability
• Plan different deals and discounts to attract potential customers
• Maintain the standard and quality of the services provided
• Coordinate with the baker and chef to plan out a new menu
• Ensure that the needs of the customers are fulfilled
• Manage the billing procedures
• Ensure smooth operations of our cafe when we are understaffed
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality management preferred.
• Proven of 2 years or more experience of working as a Café Manager, Hotel Manager or similar role
• Basic knowledge of handheld restaurant POS systems
• Ability to handle coffee machines and other appliances
• Great team management skills
• Ready to work in shifts
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Extraordinary communication and organizational skills
• Pleasant personality with the ability to converse in multiple languages fluently
