Racine Bakery is a bustling little bakery that specialises in organic sourdough, high quality viennoiserie, pies, cakes & tarts. Situated in the thriving food region of Orange. We are small & family run, but busy & growing.

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III or equivalent qualification and at least two years' experience. Candidate with higher qualifications or greater experience are also encouraged to apply.
The duties for the position include but are not limited to:
- Upholding food safety standards in terms of environment cleanliness and quality of food stuffs
- Cleaning bakery equipment and ensuring it operates effectively to comply with work health and safety requirements
- Cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins, and other tools
- Having good working knowledge of standard bakery equipment
- Making high quality dough and pastry from start to finish
- Making fillings for pastries such as tarts, eclairs, and Danishes (among others)
- Decorating pastries and cakes with glazes, creams, icings, and fruits
- Ensuring optimal oven temperature at all times
- Coordinating the timing of bakery products in the oven (including loading, turning, baking, unloading, and cooling) to ensure an efficiently run bakery
- Creativity and a desire to improve and add to our range.
