Fibrous Plasterer responsibilities
• Constructing and installing fibrous plaster components such as cornices, ceiling roses, columns, and decorative mouldings according to specifications and designs.
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying base coats before plastering.
• Mixing plaster materials to desired consistency and applying layers to create decorative and structural shapes.
• Cutting and shaping plaster to fit around fixtures and in corners, ensuring a precise fit.
• Smoothing and finishing surfaces of plaster to achieve desired textures or decorative effects.
• Repairing and restoring damaged plasterwork, matching existing patterns and textures.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines when working with plaster materials and tools.
• Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools and equipment such as trowels, floats, and saws.
• Consulting with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople regarding project requirements and progress.
Requirements
• The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
• Ability to work under pressure.

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year plus Super

Carpenter responsibilities
• Following blueprints and drawings to prepare the project layout and determine dimensions and materials required;
• Measure, shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saw;
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level;
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework, structures and flooring using hand tools, wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue;
• Installing and repairing structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim;
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
• The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
• A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
