An amazing opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced CHEF at out Italian trattoria Threecoins & Sons, located in Mount Lawley. The position is full time with afternoon/evening shifts from Monday to Saturday.
Main duties to be performed:
• preparing for service, which includes ensuring the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary ingredients, as well as cleaning, cutting and marinating food
• cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff
• maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
• creating new dishes and planning menus
• ensuring that dishes meet high standards at all stages of preparation and presentation
• hiring and training junior chefs
Skills/experiences required:
• Excellent time management skills and able to work within a team
• Demonstrated 3+ years work experience within a similar venue/hospitality environment
• Works well under pressure
• Be available to work most weekends
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Multitasking is essential
• Able to work independently and shows initiative
• A clear understanding and application of HACCP principals
• A Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Commercial Cookery

Salary: between $70,000 - $75,000
