traditions of Mughlai, North Indian, and Awadhi cuisines.
We are actively seeking a highly experienced senior culinary professional who possesses
not only a refined creative flair but also a mastery of Mughlai, North Indian, and Awadhi
cuisines.
As a Chef, you will:
? supervise, lead, mentor and oversee the kitchen staff.
? develop seasonal menus.
? develop menus for events and functions.
? undertake cooking duties.
? implement quality control and maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and
appearance.
? manage budgets, costs, and inventory levels.
? ensure compliance with relevant health regulations.
? meet with the customers to gather feedback.
You must have:
? prior full time and relevant industry experience of at least 4 years and an
associate degree or an advanced diploma or a diploma or a certificate IV or
another acceptable qualification in cooking or related.
? an additional 3 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal
qualifications.
? appropriate rights to work full time in Australia.
? an in depth understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods and techniques.
? organisational, team management, budgeting skills
? a high level of personal hygiene
Experience within 5-star rated establishments is preferred but not mandatory. An annual
salary between $74,000 to $78,000 per year plus superannuation will be paid to the right
candidate.
