Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working with an Australian owned designer and manufacturer of hand-crafted timber and uPVC high performance windows and doors, based in Chelsea Heights, VIC.
Our client’s product range are highly regarded for their style, thermal efficiency, high security, and sound insulation. These windows and doors are manufactured in Australia primarily for the boutique builders of high-end residential houses, units and apartments.
As our client’s business continues to grow, they now seek a skilled and qualified Carpenter and Joiner to welcome into their busy team. The role is full time, and ongoing.
Location – Chelsea Heights, VIC
Salary – Negotiable in the range of $70k to $85k plus superannuation per annum.
Responsibilities of the job include:
• Close attention to all agreed and documented specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Be involved in understanding and selecting the materials needed for individual assignments.
• Cutting length of materials accurately to ensure neat and tight fit.
• Fitting material lengths to form the required frames, and other components.
What you will need to be considered:
• Qualified to Cert IV or agreed equivalent and all necessary cards.
• At least 2 to 3 years (preferably more) experience since you gained your qualifications.
• Working knowledge of, and ability to use, a variety of hand and power tools to assemble residential building material components.
• Eye for detail.
• Pride in your work.
• Solid OH&S awareness and be physically fit.
• Happy team member keen to get the job done, on time, to high standards.
• Solid industry references.
• Keen to be employed on a full-time salaried basis (so this role is not suitable for sub-contractors).
• Unrestricted right to work full time in Australia.
