The role:
We are seeking an organised and creative Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and product launches to social gatherings and weddings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
To encourage responsible profit growth by establishing long-term, loyal, and mutually beneficial client relationships whilst ensuring that NOSH's emphasis on quality is upheld on a consistent basis.
Working with an experienced events team, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating events whilst maintaining minimum profit margins.
Duties:
- Research, Identify, document and approach new and existing clients, venues and markets for long-term growth
- Implement and monitor schedule progress and performance
- Attend client meetings to discuss their needs
- Plan, implement, manage, supervise and evaluate Special Events and Corporate accounts, including proposal documents, budgeting, supplier allocation, timely job confirmations, and staff selection
- Allocate team members to their designated tasks for Event Bookings
- Coordinate and roster team members, book additional casual staff
- Preparing event plans including site plans, risk management plans and operating schedules
- Support administrative duties, including maintaining event calendars and attending team meetings
- Translate client briefs for the fulfillment team to manage
Skill Requirements:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Team Oriented
- Extensive F&B knowledge and experience
- Project management, planning, implementing, managing, supervising and evaluating client accounts
- Solid operation practices to meet and exceed industry standards
- Budget control and management
- Excellent Customer service
- Ability to coordinate priorities, adapt operations and manage deadlines
- Ability to engage stakeholders and facilitate teamwork
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in event coordination
Strong Computer Literacy, including computer-based information systems and Microsoft Office Applications
NSW RSA Certification
Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills
Ability to coordinate priorities, adapt operations, and manage deadlines
