One of our clients, NTSFW Pty Ltd, based in Warrnambool, VIC needs a skilled and experienced carpenter for their business. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications and experience –
Relevant qualifications with at least 1-2 years’ related work experience.
Duties -
• Reviewing plans and blueprints to determine the necessary materials, measurements, and installation methods
• Ordering and selecting wood and other materials, then preparing design layouts
• Cutting materials and assembling, shaping, and nailing parts together
• Building framework and roof structures, installing sub-flooring and floorboards, and ensuring the accuracy of structures
• Attaching fascia boards, roofing sheathing, and installing exterior wall cladding along with door and window frames
• Putting together pre-cut wood to create structures and fittings for installation
• Cutting and shaping wood joints
• May construct formwork for concrete
• May repair existing structures and fixtures
• May work with materials like plastic laminates, acrylic, and metals
Salary - AUD 73,000 - AUD 75000 + Super
