About the Company

From three locations, Paris (France), Porto (Portugal) and Rotterdam (the Netherlands), our client CRX Software Australia builds, delivers and supports an intuitive and innovative ERP solution called RailCube for the railway industry. RailCube targets Railway companies seeking reliable operations management and the highest safety standards. The goal is to enhance operations by continuing to develop intuitive and innovative features, resulting in more efficient and improved business processes for clients. 
Hosted in Microsoft Enterprise Cloud (Azure) the RailCube solution fosters scalable technology that streamlines business processes.
Due to winning new client mandates across Europe and other continents such as Australia, CRX Software is looking to grow the team to help manage the growth.

About the Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. This role demands strong technical expertise in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering robust and scalable solutions that meet client needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Technical Design & Code Implementation: Write detailed technical designs and implement optimised code within existing programs to enhance functionality and maintainability
- Testing & Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports and ensure software reliability and performance through rigorous testing
- System Troubleshooting & Upgrades: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and continuous operations
- Client Interaction & Issue Diagnosis: Engage with clients to understand and diagnose issues accurately, providing timely and effective feedback and solutions
- Client Requirements Analysis & Solution Development: Gain a deep understanding of client needs, leveraging advanced software testing tools, producing detailed reports, and applying industry best practices to design solutions that support business processes and meet functional requirements
- Information Security Compliance & Awareness: Maintain a strong awareness of Information Security principles and contribute to the secure operation of CRX Software by adhering to the Information Security Management Framework

About You:

- Minimum of 3 years experience working with C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with LINQ, Entity Framework
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with SQL Server and Web APIs
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with Unit tests
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions
- Demonstrates qualities such as integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, contributing positively to the team and project outcomes.

Nice to have:

- Prior experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
- Prior experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Trello

More information:

- Role: permanent full-time
- Location: Sydney, Australia
- Working arrangement: hybrid of 3 office days at North Sydney or Wynyard and 2 days per week WFH
- Start date: ASAP 
- Salary: $90K to $100K base + super

Must be currently based in Australia and have full-working rights!
