Job description
Civil Engineering Technician to assist with the delivery of solar design and installation projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop project proposals and assist in estimting costs for tender preparation.
Prepare engineering design drawings for various civil and solar ground mount projects in accordance with the relevant guidelines, standards and codes of practice.
Attend technical meetings with stakeholders and customers.
Carry out site inspections and measurements when required and report and document those observations in drawings or other records.
Conduct testing of construction materials.
Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of job management processes and systems within the Company.
Other duties and assignments as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
Engineering background (Civil / Solar PV or similar).
Project drafting experience.
Experience in resource management.
Technical ability in the application of Australian Standards, industry best practices and methodologies.
A passion for solar and renewable energy.
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong time management and organisational skills.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Weekend availability

Cardiff, NSW 2285: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
