Hays Technology are partnering with a key client, based in the Brisbane CBD, to support them through an exciting defence project. This global company is integral to regional and global defence programs, working alongside customers to develop best for capability defence solutions.
Your new role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be working alongside an existing team of Product Security Engineers and Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance Specialists to lead the development and implementation of product security and resilience throughout the product lifecycle.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
Developing cybersecurity designs that implement industry standard cyber controls
Developing system requirements for product security throughout all stages of the product lifecycle
Perform threat and risk assessments as part of a cyber-maturation process
Ensure the security of equipment, tools, data, networks etc.
What you'll need to succeed
Security Clearance (NV1, NV2, PV)
Background in engineering (Mechanical/electrical/avionics/mechatronics/aviation/software/systems etc.)
Interest in developing career/skills in the IT/OT cyber arena
Demonstrated experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations throughout the engineering development lifecycle
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 + superannuation based on skills and experience
