Entura is growing and so are our teams supporting an exciting pipeline of large-scale projects. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer specialising in Transmission Line Design .
Key requirements of the role are as follows:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), acceptable for admission as a professional engineer to Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional body.
At least, Ten years (10) experience in structural (Lattice structures) design work, with a particular emphasis on transmission line and substation structural design work.
Strong knowledge of the following Australian Standards AS/NZS , AS , AS , AS and AS .
Sound experience in the use of computer design packages e.g. PLS Tower, PLS Pole;
Development of conductor loads for transmission and substation structures.
Experience in the development of conductor attachment point loads for transmission and substation structures through Limit State
