This a full-time, fixed term position until 23 December
Position Overview: To undertake a range of rural land services and activities in accordance with the Stock Route Management Act , Nature Conservation Act , Environmental Protection Act , Biosecurity Act and Council?s Pest Management Plan that contributes to the protection of the Warroo region?s rural industry including:
Management of stock routes
Monitor and control of weeds
Control of wild dogs, in partnership with the State Government and landowners
Complete Department of Resources annual capital work projects and major stock route water facility maintenance in conjunction with other local area Rural Land Service Officers
Key Responsibilities:
Pest Control (weeds)
Pest Control (animals)
Stock Routes
Compliance and investigations
Community Education Programs
