Role Overview: As an Systems Support Engineer, you will augment our Customers IT team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing IT systems, particularly those based on PowerFlex and Nutanix technologies. You will handle operational tasks, vendor liaison, minor upgrades, and ensure seamless IT system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Support: Provide regular maintenance and operational support for PowerFlex and Nutanix systems, ensuring optimal performance and stability. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to these technologies.
Provisioning: Oversee the provisioning of resources within PowerFlex and Nutanix environments, including deployment and configuration of hardware and software in line with customer requirements.
Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary contact for vendors associated with PowerFlex and Nutanix. Manage service requests, coordinate support, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Minor Upgrades: Plan and implement minor upgrades to PowerFlex and Nutanix systems, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
