Insurance services manage the Citys Insurance portfolio ensuring that the City effectively manages insurance risk. The Business Unit (BU) delivers professional, proactive and best practice insurance and liability services and advice. The wider portfolio consists of General Insurance and Workers Compensation and the BU also oversees the management of the City of Gold Coast Insurance Company Limited (our Captive insurance company)
About your new role
The Coordinator City Cover will lead a team that supports injured City workers with their rehabilitation and return to work. This role involves managing statutory and common law claims, overseeing the Council's self-insurance obligations, and assisting with strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement to align with best practices and changing regulations.
