We're on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Cook to join us full-time and permanently. If you're experienced in continental and western cuisines, we want to hear from you!
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing and cooking orders to exact specifications.
• Seasoning, garnishing, cooking, and presentation
• Operating cooking equipment with precision and safety
• Ensuring the use of only top-quality, fresh ingredients
• Maintaining consistency in all preparations
• Managing supplies and deliveries
• Following Occupational Health and Safety standards while minimizing
wastage
• Providing guidance and training to kitchen staff.
You will have:
• an apprenticeship or an acceptable trade qualification or AQF Certificate III
including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in
Cooking or related.
• at least 2 years full-time experience in the field
• an additional 3 years experience will be considered in lieu of formal
qualifications.
• the availability to work weekends and public holidays is essential.
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $74000 to $78000, in
accordance with applicable award conditions. Superannuation benefits are provided
as per industry standards.
