MIXED CROP & LIVESTOCK FARMER

Tenure: Full-time, Permanent
Comprehensive salary package from $73,150 pa (plus superannuation)
Required Skills and Experience:
• AQF Bachelor of Agricultural
• At least 3 years recent relevant work experience in a medium to large size commercial Livestock Farms
Position Summary:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Mixed Crop & Livestock/Farm Manager who can join the production team of a dairy and mixed livestock company with multiple farm sites.
Tasks and duties include:
To oversee the management of the Crop and Livestock farming operation and assist with the planning and implementation of maintenance of the paddocks and pasture areas. To ensure industry best practises are applied and manage staff to deliver a service that will exceed expectations.
Other required skills:
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Advance knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S;
• Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.
