Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 plus 11% superannuation

Singh Bros Qld specialize in SEO consulting, IT, and network support services, aimed at enhancing the business’s online presence and efficiency.
The company comprises of multi-talented software professionals having tremendous passion for building end to end business solutions on latest technologies. The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support and maintenance for the business system, establish and maintain network performance by building and developing network configurations and connections, manage operation systems, and troubleshoot network problems.
The client is looking for someone in a full-time permanent role who is passionate to learn new technologies and adapt quickly. Your primary place of work will be at Berserker, QLD 4701. However, you may also be required to work at other locations, including Park Avenue, QLD 4701, Bluff, QLD 4702, and Capricorn Highway, QLD 4702.
The Computer Network and System Engineer will help design best-fit IT solutions and take complete end-to-end implementation responsibility. In this customer service driven role, you will be required to take ownership of customer queries and ensure they are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in IT with at least 3 years’ experience in similar role. At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualification.
What you will be responsible for:
• Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installations; defining, documenting and enforcing system models
• Analyzing, developing and evaluating various operation system designs, data models and configurations
• Plan, built, and optimized network and system services, as well as complex system designs and architecture specifications, to provide adequate system availability
• Administering all management networking tools, analyzing and monitoring network performance to ensure the system is operated in a better environment
• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, prepare and maintain procedures and documentation for network inventory and control records, manage and monitor operation systems by providing backup and assistance in technical retrieval functions
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computer environments, including computer hardware, systems software, application software and all configurations
• Delivering and documenting customer projects
• Supporting customers with a wide variety of platforms and technologies
• Ensuring overall operational readiness of network systems
• Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems
• Preparing and maintaining procedures and documentation for network inventory
• Recording diagnosis and resolution of network faults, enhancements and modifications to networks, and maintenance instructions
Skills and Experience:
• Must have experience working in a managed service environment
• Demonstrated experience in IT networks and data centres
• Understanding of systems and architectures to meet client needs
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in a rapidly evolving technical environment
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Understanding of Network technology and Networking principles (e.g., VLAN’s, Subnetting, Firewalls, Proxies etc)
• Understanding of Active Directory, Virtual technologies, DHCP, PXE, Anti-Virus, MS Office, OpenVPN etc.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, clients, and partners
• Time management, ability to prioritise and deliver to schedule
