Our valued client Metal Recovery Industries based in Gracemere, Rockhampton Qld, is seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter with industry experience to work in their busy workshop.
The Company collects, salvages and processes scrap metal goods for recycle and re use in regional and remote areas in Central North Queensland, including mining sites.
The Role:
Fitting fabricated metal parts into products for fix and repair machines
Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy
Perform maintenance on a variety of multimillion-dollar pieces of machinery
Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
Commissioning of equipment -site when required
Only candidates possessing the relevant skill set and can demonstrate sound industry experience, need apply.
Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
