The Role
Representing leading brands in the Independent Grocery space working across Proserpine, Garbutt, Mackay and surrounds you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with stores and multi-site operators (MSO’s) to drive distribution and sales to increase market share and category performance iconic brands using opportunity-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growing product distribution
- Negotiation of greater shelf space in store to leverage market share
- Maximising upcoming and current promotional activity
- Driving sales results
- Develop strong store relationships
- Implementation of POGs
- Reporting and providing feedback on key field insights and activity.

Key selection criteria:
- Relevant experience in field based Sales or Merchandising role
- FMCG grocery experience is highly favourable but not essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
- Able to work autonomously
- Valid driver license
