Elixr is a premium sanctuary conveniently located in the heart of Bondi Junction directly opposite Westfield Bondi Junction. Members can choose from over 250 classes per week held across 7 studios in the one location as well enjoy a 25m indoor pool, steam rooms and luxury change rooms.
As one of the largest clubs in Australia, we are dedicated to providing high-quality fitness services through innovative class programs and expert instruction including operating our own accredited School of Yoga and School of PIlates. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and skilled senior Calisthenics Instructor to join our team, specialising in Calisthenics and ideally with a Pilates, Ballet, Dance / Strength Training background.
Elixr Health Clubs is on a search to find a talented and engaging Calisthenics Instructor and Manager who will be responsible for (but not limited to);
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead group classes and 1:1 sessions in Calisthenics delivered within Strength Training, Mobility, Ballet Barre, Dance, and Pilates formats.
Develop personalised Calisthenics training programs tailored to individual client needs.
Collaborate with other fitness professionals and provide training to create innovative and engaging Calisthenic fitness routines incorporating bodyweight training, dance, Pilates and general strength
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends to continuously enhance client experiences.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior trainers and clients alike
Utilise your deep knowledge of calisthenics / bodyweight training to enhance current Pilates and exercise programs
Ensure a safe, positive and effective environment during class sessions and training
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in fitness instruction, with a focus on Calisthenics delivered through Dance, Ballet, Strength Training
MAT & Reformer Pilates, Dance & Functional Training Certifications
Other fitness training (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in fitness instruction, with a focus on Calisthenics, Dance, Ballet, Strength Training, and Mobility.
At least 5 years of management experience in a fitness setting, leading teams and overseeing program development
Cert IV in Fitness
Additional Certifications are desirable
Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Calisthenics, Dance, Ballet, Strength Training, Pilates, and Mobility.
Strong Pilates and bodyweight / calisthenics knowledge, with the ability to integrate it into diverse training programs.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing fitness teams and programs.
Exceptional communication and client engagement skills.
Innovative thinker with a passion for fitness and client success.
Versatile and experienced.
Preferred Attributes:
Demonstrated success in managing high-end fitness clubs or programs.
Ability to inspire and develop junior trainers and fitness professionals.
Commitment to continuous professional development and industry best practices.
CPR and First Aid certification
The person we seek must possess energy, leadership and strategic thinking to grow and meet the demand for Calisthenic driven training aspect of fitness at Elixr. This full-time role reports directly to the General Manager.
