DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead or contribute to the engineering design on a variety of projects, ensuring they are effectively managed and delivered against time, quality and performance requirements.
• Establish strong client and wider network relationships and be involved in business development related activities with new and existing clients to maintain market presence, industry awareness and identify future opportunities for growth.
• Provide specialist technical engineering input and advice on engineering design to architects and clients ensuring regulatory requirements are met and work quality is maintained at the expected standard.
• Coordinate the response of supporting technical specialists where required.
• Take responsibility for design documentation including calculations, certification, drawings and specifications as an individual specialist contributor or in overseeing the work of peers and junior team members.
• Actively participate in skill development activities within the business, including mentoring and teaching and supporting junior engineering staff.
• Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
• Collaborate with other staff and clients.
• Resolving complex technical issues where there may not be an established precedent
• Invests time with colleagues and clients in the service of long-term, trusting rather than transactional relationships.
• Visibly and vigorously champions world-class knowledge and expertise that is continually honed.
• Applies the latest thinking to bring about innovation and quality in our work.
Salary $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 PA + Super
