Qualification Requirement:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Position Responsibilities:
Ability to operate, inspect, maintain and service automated machinery (Mechatronics, CNC, Waterjet technology) and report any faults
Analysing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations
Implementation of preventative maintenance methods
Knowledge of efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures
Following plant and company procedures and OHS policies.
Production Operation in a Lean fabrication environment
Operation and Maintenance of advanced manufacturing plant and mechatronic systems
Operation and of MRP/ERP Software and Barcode Scanning Systems
Reporting Faults and auditing job quality via digital reporting systems
Develop process improvements to effectively utilise equipment and materials to maximise production
Develop operational strategies to achieve production objectives
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages
Plan and coordinate production engineering processes to produce high quality products
Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities
Main Duties:
Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production
Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes
Inspect machinery to ensure everything is up to specified code
Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals
Investigate problems, analyse root causes and derive resolutions
Supervise and participate in the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements
Identify unsafe operations and practices and report to management immediately
