Our federal government client is looking for an OpenStack engineer with extensive experience in Linux administration, and who has been involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and services based on the OpenStack cloud computing platform. On-call or out-of-hours work may be required.
Primary Technologies:
Red Hat OpenStack, Ceph Storage, Python, Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Linux (RHEL), GIT, RHEV 4, Grafana, Prometheus
Key Duties:
Building and implementing Private cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Private Cloud infrastructure and services.
Automating infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Ansible and Satellite.
Developing and maintaining custom scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
Performing capacity planning and performance tuning for private cloud-based infrastructure.
Collaborating with other teams, OpenShift, Data Centre Facilities Management, application, and monitoring teams.
