Will be provided in detail at client interview but will include to ensure timely and favourable settlement of claims; keeping clients informed of status of claims in a timely manner; liaise with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement; ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes; using claim settlement as a marketing tool; develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of insurance; keep management and others informed appropriately as required about work; lead, motivate, counsel and assist with staff development; use personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position; any and all other duties.
