A well-established company based in South Brisbane has a new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a highly skilled team of Engineers, focused on developing and improving products, production processes, and equipment that is manufactured in house. Your new role As an experienced Mechanical Engineer, responsibilities include;

Design, develop, and enhance heavy mechanical systems for demanding applications
Collaborate within a close-knit project team
Conduct research, validate findings, and document results
Identify and recommend improvements in manufacturing processes
Understand client briefs and develop robust solutions
Assist with material and equipment procurement, ensuring compliance
Develop preventative and predictive maintenance plans
Ensure maintenance and repairs meet technical specifications and safety standards
Review and forecast component life

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of 3D modelling experience using Solidworks
5+ years of heavy mechanical design experience, referencing relevant Australian Standards
High-level understanding of manufacturing processes
Extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and circuit design
Ability to lead project teams
