• AVABTI PTY LTD (MISS VIET), one of Melbourne’s most respected dining institutions, is looking for experienced COOK to work at Cheltenham restaurant or next branch in CBD.
• • Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment • Preparing and cooking food • Seasoning food during cooking • Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
• • Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements May plan menus and estimate food requirements • Excellent attention to detail. • Team Collaboration. • A strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.
• • May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Qualifications & experience
• the skills or experience required for the position; - At least 3years of highly related experience
• - English proficiency - Cooking for Vietnamese cuisine at least 3 months - Strong knowledge and experience in cooking work and Vietnamese /Asian dishes
