Whether hosting birthday parties, corporate events or intimate gatherings, our goal is to be a standout destination that offers a distinctive and exceptional experience for our members and guests. The Positions Our client is seeking highly motivated, experienced and passionate conference and events organiser to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, planning and delivering a diverse range of events within the precinct BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Promoting conferences, conventions and events to potential customers. Responding to inquiries concerning services provided and cost for room and equipment hire, catering and related services Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outlining package options to meet those needs. Arranging and co-ordinating services, such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accomodation, transport and social events for participants. Organising registration of participants. Negotiating the type of costs and services to be provided within the budget. Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders. Qualification & Experience Ideal Candidates Be experienced in a similar high-volume casual Pub venue, preferably upmarket pubs, hotels, or restaurants. Have the flexibility to work days, nights and weekends. Possession of a highly relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advance Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) At least 2 years of post qualification experience. Ability to work in a fast paced/flexible environment Preference will be placed on applicants with unrestricted work rights.
