Painter Blasters
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Painter Blasters for exciting upcoming projects specifically in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and blasting as needed.
• Applying protective coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
• Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals efficiently and safely.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
About you :
• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience and valid nationally recognised Trade Certification in painting and blasting at various levels.
• Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar
• Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in the painting and blasting industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (less than 2 years old)
• Hold a nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
What We Offer:
• Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $42.03 - $55.00 (qualification/experience and project dependent).
• Standard working week of 40 – 60 hours, working 8 - 12 hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend and public holiday work (site and project dependent).
