An opportunity exists for a Mechanical Technician with an eye for detail, capable of multitasking and a drive to help improve the operation to join their team.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as needed
Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
Maintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Strong diagnostic abilities
Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
Must have great work ethics
