Eaton Building Materials operates 5 Hardware stores and 2 Timber Mills. Milling Weatherboards, skirtings, linings, decking etc in our mills. Our company is currently recruiting an experienced and qualified wood machinist to join their team in Mannering Park and Trundle (near Parkes) NSW.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Set up and operate woodworking machines such as Weinig or Wadkin moulders or similar
- Shape, cut, turn and sand wood stock as required
- Study drawings, work orders and specifications
- Use a profile grinder and set up moulders to run details profiles
- Using sawing machines, mortice machines, moulding machines, routers, planes and drills
- Using computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery
- Cleaning and servicing machines and sharpening or replacing blades
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Wood Machinist
- A Certificate III in Wood Machining or relevant
- OH&S awareness
- Forklift License
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
